Scrambled Legs was founded in 1995 by husband and wife team Dayle Hunt and Fleur de Thier.

Originally a physical theatre co, Scrambled Legs quickly established a reputation for creating original and entertaining theatre.
In 1998 Fleur took over the co and steered it in the direction of dance theatre. Each year the co presents a new and original show.

Fleur has made works in collaboration with other performing artists such as Shay Horay, Dayle Hunt, Richard Bullock, Sarah Franks, Andrew Shepherd and sculptor Pippin Wright-Stow.  Film maker Rick Harvie has worked on several projects and together Fleur and Rick have made exciting and innovative live dance and film shows.

Fleur has employed several professional dancers and shows regularly feature Christchurch based dancers Julia Sadler and Erica Viedma, both established and acclaimed artists in New Zealand.

Creative New Zealand has funded several projects including New Work and touring grants. Christchurch City Council, Creative Communities and Danz are ongoing supporters of Fleur and the Co.
